SPS Enquiry Point is being in action its activities since 1st January 2004. SPS related rules & regulation, standards, guidelines shall be intercommunicated within the forum of member countries via SPS Enquiry Point.
The Department of Food Technology and Quality Control (DFTQC), the only one sole governmental agency for implementing Food Act 2023 (1966) & Food Regulation 2027 (1970) and Feed Act 2033, has long been striving for the enhancement of safety assurance in food and feed supplies in the country. Further, the Department has a paramount role in augmenting appropriate food processing and post-harvest techniques to promote agribusiness and thereby ameliorate the livelihood of the people who are acutely in needs. The nutritional activities conducted during the calendar year predominantly focused on nutritional improvement of different communities inhabiting in various geographical regions of the country.
